Supposed Out of Stock

Why do I receive In Stock emails, and later that same day, it's  Out of Stock again, then I fill out the email form once again, 2 hrs later it's magically back In Stock, then if I don't order right away, it's Out of Stock yet again. Are these coupons truly vanishing that fast? It's frustrating because I want to order several things that are Out of Stock at the same time, and combine them onto ONE ORDER, yet I can't because they are yo yoing In and Out of each other.
Otherwise I like this site very much.

Lillybee, the email notifications go out to everyone who signed up for them and that can range from several hundred to a few thousand people.  It's first-come-first-served so they sell out quick.
